Franklin Graham Warns ‘Every Demon in Hell Has Been Turned Loose’
Rev. Franklin Graham, speaking at the National Religious Broadcasters International Christian Media Convention, expressed concern about the state of faith in our society. He emphasized the need for Christians to be prepared for the challenges ahead, describing it as a storm approaching. Graham believes that our culture has rapidly deteriorated, and he warned against being deceived or fooled by the changes happening around us.
Graham, the son of renowned evangelist Billy Graham, addressed an audience of approximately 2,000 people in Orlando, Florida. He highlighted the threat of "wokeness" that poses a danger to Christian ministries and their ability to share the Gospel message. According to Graham, corporations controlling cloud services could potentially cancel and erase important data, such as donor records, of organizations that adhere to biblical teachings on sin and salvation. He pointed out several instances in which conservative and Christian organizations have faced similar attacks, including the recent closure of the National Committee for Religious Freedom's bank accounts without prior notice by Chase Bank.
To combat the challenges posed by a cancel culture that seeks to silence Christian organizations, Graham urged Christians to remain steadfast in their beliefs. He emphasized the importance of not retreating or apologizing for the Gospel message but rather boldly declaring and preaching it. Graham recognized the existence of a cancel culture that aims to suppress the voices of Christians, expressing the belief that they don't want to hear from people of faith. He encouraged his listeners to persevere in sharing the truth.
According to Rev. Graham, our current culture has unleashed every demonic force from hell. He expressed his belief that the world has rapidly declined, emphasizing the importance of not falling into deception or being fooled. Graham stressed the necessity of readiness and preparation for what lies ahead.
The National Religious Broadcasters described their convention as the largest event dedicated to supporting Christian communications. The welcome address was given by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who spoke about fighting against the weaponization of government targeting Christians. DeSantis cited examples such as government actions against parents attending school board meetings and the labeling of observant Catholics as potential threats by the FBI. He criticized those in power who use their authority against people of faith, characterizing it as one faction turning the reins of power against those they dislike.
Governor DeSantis inspired the audience by referring to Ephesians 6:10, which encourages Christians to put on the full armor of God and stand firm in the truth without backing down. He highlighted the need to be prepared for the challenges ahead and emphasized the importance of not compromising one's faith in the face of opposition. DeSantis acknowledged the existence of a government that targets those it dislikes and assured the audience that his administration is committed to pushing back against such actions.
